Southern Fried Goodness

There is a certain repetition to driving I-40 East. One tends to see the same signs, trucking companies, and businesses state after state. Take fast food restaurants, for example. There are the standards such as McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell and even Starbucks. These are familiar to me and so I tend to tune them out. However, there are several chains that are new to me this trip. Chains with folksy names such as Waffle House, Bean Pot, Chester Field, Chick Fil-A, Ruby Tuesday's, Huddle House, Shoney's, Biscuitville, Sagebrush Steakhouse, Bojangle's, and the grandaddy of them all, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Cracker Barrel is EVERYWHERE and it's sign features a man in overalls (presumably the cracker?) sitting next to, you guessed it, a barrel. Maybe it's because we've been traveling for awhile but I'm sick to death of Cracker Barrel and I've never even eaten there.
